About Mercy Roots
Making it easier for neighbors to care for neighbors.
Our mission is simple: Love our neighbors by helping people find the local support they need, while strengthening the organizations already serving our community.
Mercy Roots brings trusted local resources together in one free, anonymous place, making it easier for people to find help and easier for organizations to connect people with resources beyond their own services.
Find Local Help. Find Real Hope.

Meet the Founder

I'm a husband, father of twins, Army veteran, children's author, and technology leader with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations solve complex problems.
My family and I call Cashmere home.
Mercy Roots grew from a simple belief: our community already has people and organizations doing important work, but too often the people who need help don't know where to find it.
I built Mercy Roots to help close that gap.
The goal isn't to replace what's already working. It's to make it easier for people to find it.
What We Believe
Mercy Roots is rooted in the Christian call to love God and love our neighbors.
We believe faith is lived out through action: feeding someone who is hungry, helping a family find shelter, supporting someone through recovery, caring for a veteran, praying for someone who is hurting, or simply helping a neighbor find their next step.
Our Christian faith inspires us to serve, and everyone is welcome.
There is no membership, account, or cost to find or share help through Mercy Roots.
We serve because of what we believe, not because of what you believe.
Built With Our Community
Mercy Roots isn't being built for the community. It's being built with the community.
The people and organizations serving our neighbors understand their needs better than we ever could on our own. That's why we're listening to local nonprofits, churches, schools, libraries, healthcare providers, community leaders, and the people who use Mercy Roots.
Their experience helps shape what we improve, what we build next, and just as importantly, what we don't build.
As Mercy Roots grows, we want the community to have an even greater voice in its direction. That may include simple ways for local organizations and community members to help prioritize ideas and future improvements.
Mercy Roots will provide the platform. The community will help shape what it becomes.
Our Commitment
Mercy Roots is built on a few simple promises.
Free to use and share
There is never a cost to find help through Mercy Roots or to share it with someone who needs it.
Private by design
People can search for help anonymously. No account or personal information is required to use the resource directory.
Simple when it matters
Finding help can already be difficult. Mercy Roots is designed to make the next step easier, not add another process or barrier.
Accurate and transparent
We work to keep resource information current and clearly show whether it has been confirmed directly with the organization.
Here to strengthen, not replace
Mercy Roots connects people with the organizations already doing the work. We don't replace those organizations or tell them how to serve their communities.
Local and accountable
Mercy Roots is starting in the Wenatchee Valley. We're proving the model here through real use, community feedback, and successful connections before considering where it might go next.
